Lines

Straight lines remove any need for questioning, (makeshift lines do the same, only to a lesser degree). Green fingernails, curled around brown nuts begin to fall from the withered branches of a sickly tree,
Old man's beard on TV, in TV, in Cumbria,
O' dreaded Cumbria, sleepy horror-towns, on TV - straight line
 terror of an A-to-B,
Weak, gracious towns - lackluster lowbrow guilt in boot of car - laid out in the boot
Straight lines become circles, (conversations are neither circular, nor straight),
'There are many psychological issues attached to fucking a brain.' -
Dan of single shirt, Daniel of Peckham Rye, Daniel of Old Dan's Lane, Dan's Ladder waiting
outside. Dan in the leaves - tree-eyes of single malt.

Gob, years closed - opens,
Black bowl 'pon empty skull. Young tubers reach like little arms -
Tiny sounds for tiny ears. Blessed balcony is on fire. Seeds on the floor, seeds on the roof.
